Claire joined Perfect Finish Ortho Lab in 2023, bringing her background in electrical engineering and a self-taught passion for computer-aided drafting (CAD) to the world of orthodontics—a field she never expected, but quickly grew to love.
As Senior Digital Tech, Claire specializes in 3D band creation and 3D printed metal appliances. Her day-to-day includes processing digital scans, preparing models for 3D printing, appliance design, and keeping our printers running at peak performance. She also supports the lab’s IT needs and stays current with the latest technology and AI developments to help maintain production efficiency.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, producing music, programming, and spending time with her fiancee, brother, and niece.
Kira has been with Perfect Finish Ortho Lab since 2006, starting as a lab technician before transitioning to the digital department. She coordinates all digital case submissions through EasyRx, processes each case through our software, and ensures a balanced workflow for the digital team.
Kira also leads coordination for Emerald Clear Aligners, working closely with doctors on case submissions and digital treatment planning. Though her main focus is on the digital side, she still steps in to assist with lab production when needed.
Outside the lab, Kira enjoys time with her husband and kids, attending concerts, supporting her children’s activities, and relaxing with a good book by the lake.
Caroline brings a dynamic blend of clinical, technical, and creative expertise to her role at Perfect Finish Ortho Lab. She joined the lab in 2023 as a digital technician and quickly advanced to lead all things marketing: developing and managing campaigns, creating both print and digital content, and shaping the lab’s brand presence across platforms.
With over 20 years of experience in the dental and orthodontic industry, Caroline has worked in a variety of roles—from clinical assisting and teaching to software training, client success, and supply sales—giving her a well-rounded perspective she brings to her work at Perfect Finish.
Caroline also serves as the lab’s EasyRx expert, guiding offices from their first login to fully integrated scanner workflows. Whether it’s troubleshooting or training, she’s the go-to resource for seamless digital case submissions.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys hiking, roller skating, beach days with her kids and yellow lab, and diving into dragon-themed books. Her design flow is powered by EDM, country, or the perfect mix of both.
Jess began her journey at Perfect Finish Ortho Lab in 2014 with no prior experience in orthodontics. Over the years, she’s become an expert in the fabrication of Essix retainers, specialty appliances, and appliance repairs. As Trimming Department Supervisor, she oversees daily operations, distributes work across the team, and ensures equipment is maintained and running efficiently.
While working, Jess stays focused by listening to audiobooks and podcasts—she gravitates toward true crime, paranormal stories, and anything by James Patterson.
Outside the lab, Jess keeps busy with her two boys, ages 14 and 9, often cheering them on at youth sports games and practices. She enjoys hiking with her family and their dog Shyla, loves warm weather, and looks forward to Christmas all year long.
Sarah is the Office Manager at Perfect Finish Ortho Lab, bringing over 15 years of experience in administrative and office management roles. Since joining the lab in 2012, she has played a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly—whether it’s coordinating schedules, managing office logistics, or jumping in to support the team with whatever they need. Her ability to handle the behind-the-scenes details helps ensure everything at the front of the lab stays on track.
Known for her organization, reliability, and approachable nature, Sarah helps create a positive and efficient workplace environment. Her natural ability to balance multiple priorities makes her an essential part of the daily flow at Perfect Finish.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Cupcake. She loves reading, exploring new places on weekend getaways, and finding moments of peace in a busy world. Sarah is known for her calm presence, problem-solving skills, and keeping everything (and everyone) on track.
With over 20 years of experience, Courtney has been a valued member of Perfect Finish Ortho Lab since 1999. She ensures incoming work is routed to the correct technicians, performs quality control on nightguards, wire bends, evaluates returned appliances, and helps manage overall workload when needed.
She’s also the friendly voice clients hear when they call with questions about case design or locating a case — a part of the job she truly enjoys. Her attention to detail and commitment to smooth operations make her a vital part of the team.
Courtney’s deep knowledge of lab processes and her ability to troubleshoot in real time make her an essential resource across departments.
Phil has been an Orthodontic Technician since 1984 and brings a unique blend of clinical knowledge and business expertise to Perfect Finish Ortho Lab. He holds a B.S. in Biology and a degree in Business Management, combining both disciplines to support the operational and financial health of the lab. Phil is a respected voice in the orthodontic community, having lectured at universities across the NY/NJ metropolitan area, presented at major events such as the Greater New York Dental Meeting and the New York County Dental Society, and actively sponsored and participated in continuing education courses throughout New York and New Jersey.
As the lab’s former owner, Phil proudly passed the reins to Megan in 2023, confident in her leadership and the strong team she’s built. Now serving as CFO, he focuses on financial oversight, compliance, and strategic spending. Phil remains a trusted advisor and proudly supports the growth of the largest woman-owned orthodontic lab in the U.S., offering advice when needed but letting Megan lead the way with her vision for the future.
Outside of work, Phil lives in Manasquan, New Jersey, with his wife. He enjoys time with his two adult children and is most at peace outdoors—especially when saltwater fishing is involved.
Melissa keeps the financial side of Perfect Finish Ortho Lab running like a well-oiled machine. She joined the lab in 2014 and, over time, grew into her current role managing in-house accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and credit card processing. Whether she’s tracking expenses or ensuring everything stays within budget, Melissa handles it all with precision, consistency, and care.
Her favorite part of the job? The confidence and trust the team has in her, and the strong sense of family that makes Perfect Finish feel like home. Her secret to staying on top of it all: a love of organization—and her trusty calculator.
Outside the lab, Melissa is all about enjoying life. She loves spending time at the beach, trying new restaurants, catching live concerts, and unwinding at the movies. She’s also a proud mom of two grown children who continue to be her greatest joy.
Maggie started her journey at Perfect Finish Ortho Lab in 2022 as a front desk receptionist. Now serving as our Operations Manager, Maggie plays a key role in keeping the lab running smoothly. From coordinating materials for hybrid cases to packing and shipping our perfectly crafted appliances, she ensures that every detail is handled with care. She’s also a vital part of our client onboarding process, making sure new practices have everything they need to get started with us seamlessly.
Maggie is known for her cheerful attitude, steady presence, and a smile that’s truly felt—even through the phone. She’s the heartbeat of our daily operations, always making sure things stay on track.
Outside of work, she enjoys tending to her garden and spending time with her cats.
